What Plants Look Like is a website and outdoor lightbox installation that was located in Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, London.

The project looks at the changes in the visual documentation of plants over the last thousand years. It shows how artists and scientists have observed and used technology to document, study and understand the world's flora.

Customised light boxes were scattered around the film festival gardens, as participants walked around the light boxes would light up and show a historical image of a plant. A website with the same function can be found here.

The project was commissioned by Shuffle Film Festival.
