I made a short experimental documentary film looking at life inside Berlin's internet cafes. Internet cafes can act as a refuge, a familiar setting where the stranger can connect with his or her world. The place itself is a ‘non-place:’ it merely holds the body while the browser’s mind connects to new spaces.

In an age and country where personal internet connections are the norm, internet cafes have taken on a new role. This film documents these spaces.
